Shanghai-licious
Ahhha! I wrote another post! Woo! I'm proud. These right here are the swatches of Cargo's 'Shanghai' palette I promised.
These were taken in the shade.

As you can see the taupe is pretty pigmented. I had trouble with the white and pink eye shadows. The pretty gold sparkles in the pink shade did not show up as well I would have liked. I get it though- its a pretty neutral set of shadows. The white sparkly one was the trouble maker as it has kind of the same texture as the yellow in Cargo's 'Tahiti' palette. It was quite gritty to put on, meaning, it was hard to just pat it on and go. I wasn't quite sure sure how to use it so I applied some in my inner corner for some jazz. Maybe I'll try it as a lid base the next time I use it again. There's not much I can say about these since my idea of a 'neutral' eye involves shimmery taupe's and bronzes. This is a nice and tidy palette for someone who needs a basic look with some interest.
