Welcome!
This isn't an essay for school so I'm not going to keep writing very formal here. It's a blog that is being made in the search for something fun and new and for that I'm thankful. So with that statement I'll briefly explain why I started a blog at all. I love my hobbies. I may not do some very well but i still love it. I'll be posting about my love of nail polish, baking, gardening, beauty/skin care, and everything else in between. It's very much a diary, without icky details of my personal life. At least not in depth posts. :)
I went to Sephora with my mom a few weeks ago for a looksie. Turns out that Cargo is being discontinued online and in some Sephora's. I say some because the Sephora inside a Jc Pennys near my house still sells it. Anywho, the line was 50% off so of course i HAD to look. Laura Geller and Kevyn Aucoin (!) were on sale as well but i didn't see anything of interest. I did pick up a Cargo color palette in Tahiti. I've been lemming it since it came out but never had the wallet or will to spend on it when i saw it. Didn't wow me IRL but I always went back to it. Blues and greens suck me in! But this time my lemming monster was satisfied. My mom got a palette in Shangai, which are very pretty neutrals. We contained ourselves very well, no?

Blue is a tad dusty colored and that yellow has a bit more of green in it.
Here's 'Shanghai'.
Overall, very pretty colors. 'Shanghai' is pretty perfect for my skin tone. I've been using that taupe for eveything. Love! 'Tahiti' is awesome like I thought it would be. Tahiti's colors came out the same as the picture and Shanghai's came out a much the same except a tad sheerer than Tahiti. Only problem I had with these is that they didn't have as much pigment as I would've liked. But with a primer and/ or sponge applicator- color and wear was nice.
